The European Commission is in charge of the overall management of Erasmus+. Organisations called National Agencies (NAs) manage the programme in their country.
In Ireland we have two National Agencies. Léargas is the Erasmus+ NA for Adult Education, School Education, Vocational Education and Training, and Youth. The Higher Education Authority is the Erasmus+ NA for Higher Education.
