On 12th November 2025, the European Commission has opened the Erasmus+ 2026 call for proposals, offering new funding opportunities in education, training, youth and sport across Europe and beyond. With a budget of around € 5.2 billion for 2026, the programme continues to invest in skills development and citizenship education through cross-border mobility and cooperation projects.
The first step in your Erasmus+ journey is to familiarise yourself with the Erasmus+ Programme Guide and identify which opportunities would be most beneficial to your organisation. Information on budget allocation for 2026 is available here.
If you’re unsure of what direction to take, we would recommend exploring current and past Programme Results on the Léargas website and on the official Erasmus+ Project Results Platform. You can also view our Impact Stories and more beneficiaries’ testimonials on our Blog.
Once you have an idea, you can head to the Deadlines page to find out the next round for applications.
My application was successful, what now?
On Manage Your Grant, you can find a useful breakdown of your grant management into four stages: Contracting, Monitoring, Sharing, and Reporting. Don’t forget to check out the Further Resources for tutorials, downloadable forms and more!
As part of your contract, you are required to communicate your involvement in Erasmus+ within your organisation and with external stakeholders. Léargas has put together a resource pack to help you keep track of and talk about your project. For a comprehensive guide on how to communicate your project, please refer to the European Commission’s guide “How to Communicate Your Project”.
