Léargas and the Higher Education Authority launched the new Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programme in Ireland, online at 10 am on 22 June. The new programmes will bring funding of more than €40 million into Ireland this year alone, and address key national and European priorities:
- Inclusion,
- Active Participation,
- Support for the Environment and Sustainability
- and Digital transitions.
Chaired by Méabh McMahon of Euronews, this eventful and inspiring morning included:
- Context of the new programmes from Lorraine Gilligan, Executive Director of Léargas, and Gerry O’Sullivan, Head of International Programmes in the Higher Education Authority
